Jon Seibt

Managing Director

Jon Seibt, originally from Clare, Michigan, is the Managing Director for S.A.F.E. Detroit. Jon attended Western Michigan University where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.  While at Western Michigan, Jon interned for S.A.F.E. in the Detroit office and after graduation, was hired to assist in the opening of University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

In Arizona, Jon helped establish S.A.F.E.’s newest branch office and oversaw Arizona Cardinal game day staffing. Jon also implemented new security policies and procedures to be compliant with NFL best practices and created Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plans for the University of Phoenix Stadium. In addition to event day staffing, Jon directly oversaw the stadium’s 24/7 operations.

After six years in Arizona, Jon eagerly took the opportunity to advance his career by accepting the Director of Operations position in the Jacksonville office. As Director of Operations, Jon oversaw all aspects of the Jacksonville office including: meeting and exceeding guest services standards; meeting and exceeding safety and security standards; maintaining staffing levels and budgeting to meet clients requests; coordinating interviews, hiring and training all new and current Team Members; as well as all administrative aspects of the office.

During Super Bowl XLII Jon was selected as Director of Security for the Media Center at the Phoenix Convention Center.  Jon was responsible for scheduling, training, and managing all staff that worked at the Media Center.  He worked closely with NFL Security and Media personnel to ensure that a safe and enjoyable environment was maintained and all expectations and request were met.

From the successes during the Phoenix Super Bowl, S.A.F.E. Management was awarded the NFL League Hotel and Commissioners Party venues for Super Bowl XLIII. With these additions, Jon was selected as the Director of Security for the Media Center, NFL League Hotel, Commissioners Party, and ESPN SportsCenter Super Bowl broadcast set.[/vc_column_text]

At Super Bowl XLVII Jon took on a new challenge as the Director of Security for the Stadium Campus.  This included overseeing and implementing the various security phases during build out up until and after Super Bowl Sunday.

Most recently, Jon has been responsible for the overall Super Bowl Experience operation and related venues.  He has assisted in developing security plans, developing budgets and overseeing daily operations at the Super Bowl Experience, NFL Tailgate and Media Center.

Over a seven year career with S.A.F.E. Management, Jon has had the opportunity to have a major impact on an array of events ranging from 7 Super Bowls, two BCS National Championship games, Arizona Cardinals football, Jacksonville Jaguars football, Detroit Lions football, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, Florida vs. Georgia Classic, Gator Bowl, University of Florida Football, Rolling Stones/Kenny Chesney/U2 concerts, Wrestlemania XXVI, automotive sports, trade shows, conventions and festivals.

Most recently, Jon has come full circle and made it back to his home city to be the Director of Operations in the Detroit Office. There, Jon will oversee all operational and administrative functions of the office.
