Event Security has drastically changed over the last two decades and venues have recognized and made it a priority to address the ever present threat to security. In order for guests to have the most positive event day experience it is important that they feel SAFE. We, at S.A.F.E., value our commitment to making our venues the safest and most secure in the nation.
S.A.F.E.’s event security duties include, but are not limited to:
- Access Control
- Asset Protection
- Crowd Management
- Entry point inspections (hand wands, magnetometers, pat downs, bag inspection)
We believe that our training programs enable our event security team to be the most effective in the industry.
The use of the Courtesy Teams provides an example of how S.A.F.E. differentiates itself from the competition. Courtesy Team Members are a unique blend of guest services, security, and crowd management. The Courtesy Team programs have experienced great success over the years in Baltimore, Detroit, Arizona, and at the Super Bowl. These individuals work in a group of two in a support role to the general Team Members, Event Security, Guest Service Personnel, Supervisors, Managers and Management. They use a proactive approach in performing their duties; these Team Members help to eliminate potential problems well before they ever surface. They are assigned pre-event, event and post-event responsibilities. Pre-event assignments include, for example, securing player entrances and parking lots and overseeing the screening and inspection processes at the entry gates. Post-event assignments may include facilitating the SAFE departure of players from the field, assisting with the final sweep of the facility, or an array of other responsibilities. Courtesy Team Members are given comprehensive training in the areas of guest service, security, conflict resolution, leadership and communication. These individuals are supervisory-level and display traits of diplomacy, tactfulness and professionalism.
S.A.F.E. provides ushers, ticket takers, escalator and elevator attendants, directionals, and an array of other Guest Service positions for clients around the country. The role of these Team Members is to function as a “one-stop shop” to answer all information inquiries from our guests and to facilitate the resolution of guests’ problems and/or concerns. S.A.F.E.’s Guest Services Personnel are challenged to handle everything including lost children, initial ticket problems, general information about the facility, and local information to help make a guest’s experience enjoyable.

24 / 7 Facility Security
Event day is important, but the safety of the venue starts far in advance of the first guest’s ticket being scanned. S.A.F.E. provides 24/7 security for commercial facilities around the country, including many sports facilities, and ensures that those venues are SAFE on event day and during the days before and after.
